They’d be gentle as they took off his mask, slow in case Sal decided to stop them. It’s incredibly likely that S/o is going to be the one to initiate the first kiss, though they’ll have to take it slow with him: make him comfortable, reassure him, give him an escape if he decides it’s too much. Even if his partner has seen his face before he’s just not really sure how to go about a first kiss, and he’s still pretty insecure. Even when he loves and trusts someone he’s very hesitant to take off his mask he can’t help but have this sinking, anxious fear that his partner will think he’s ugly, will love him less, will leave him if they see what he looks like underneath. Showing his face to someone, even showing half of his face, take a massive amount of trust. Not only is he completely inexperienced, so his first kiss with them is very likely to be his very first kiss, but it also means that he has to take off his mask. Sal’s first kiss with his partner definitely takes longer than most. Anyway I might be turning Sal’s into an actual fic.
